Timberline Foundation is a nonprofit, publicly-supported charity interested in programs, institutions and organizations that encourage the development of individuals equipped to be citizens of the world.

Established in 2001 as Winterline Foundation, Inc., Timberline operated under that name until 2017. Most of the Board members of Timberline, including its founder Mahendrajeet Singh, have a historic tie to Woodstock School, in the Himalayan Mountains of northern India.

Timberline’s Board of Directors evaluates the focus of the organization on an ongoing basis. The Foundation generally targets organizations identified by its own research but is open to consideration of program ideas put forth by others.
